Professor Dienst is a senior consultant Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in hip surgery. He completed specialty training in Germany and USA, he's a board-certified orthopedic and trauma surgeon. He offers an entire range of hip surgery from minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to complex hip exchange surgery. He is a founding member and ex-president of the International Society for Hip Arthroscopy. He has authored hundreds of research papers and book chapters on different topics in orthopedic surgery.
Michael Dienst is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in arthroscopic and open joint-preserving and reconstructive surgery of the hip joint. He trained in Germany and completed fellowships in Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstruction in the USA. His operative spectrum covers the entire range of hip surgery from minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery, and open hip preservation surgery to minimally invasive joint replacement and complex hip exchange surgery. and his experience extends to more than 20 years.
He is an instructor for the German and North American Arthroscopy Associations, and one of the editors of the Journal of Arthroscopy, Orthopedic, and Archives of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery. He is also a founding member and past president of ISHA and was active for many years as an executive director in the hip committee of the AGA.
Professor Dienst has an enormous body of research and academic contributions, he is the editor for multiple prestigious Journals and author of multiple book chapters, he's also an international lecturer and has given over 100 lectures across Europe and USA.
