Doctor Soliman is an Associate Professor of neurosurgery and spine oncology at Northwell/Hofstra University, Zucker School of Medicine. He is a consultant neurosurgeon at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Hospital. Dr. Soliman is involved in many neurosurgery societies and has many published peer-reviewed papers and chapters.
Dr. Hesham Soliman graduated from the Medical School of Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt in 2002. He then became a neurosurgery resident and got his Master’s degree there.
Then Dr. Soliman traveled to Kansas to start his Neurosurgery internship at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he passed his written boards which rendered him a Board Eligible Neurosurgeon.
He then completed Fellowships in Complex Spine Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Spine Oncology and Minimally Invasive/Endoscopic Spine Surgery at Brown University, and Functional Neurosurgery and Pain at the Cleveland Clinic, US. He has been an appointed faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin since 2015.
Dr. Soliman has special expertise in Spinal Tumor management, navigation-based and minimally invasive surgery, and is currently one of the few endoscopic spine surgeons in Wisconsin. He is involved in many neurosurgery societies and has many published peer reviewed papers and chapters.
