Dr. Antonio Rosado is a clinical and interventional cardiologist in Miami Beach, Florida. He then pursued an Internal Medicine internship and residency training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami, followed by a Clinical Cardiology fellowship and Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach.
He focuses on the use of evidence-based medicine and the application of guideline-directed medical therapies to decrease the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
Dr. Rosado holds a Faculty appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) at Florida International University (FIU). He precepts medical school students during their cardiology clinical clerkship. His goal is to prepare each student to be outstanding physicians through the application of basic science knowledge to the daily practice of medicine.
